Privacy policy
The protection of your personal data is a matter of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR). In this privacy information, we explain the most important aspects of data processing within our website.
1. Controller

E-Mail: info@hausundhof-salzburg.at

2. Hosting
This website is hosted by:
easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna
https://www.easyname.com
When you access our website, the hosting provider automatically records so-called server log files. These include the IP address, the date and time of access, the pages accessed, and technical information about the browser used. This data is processed solely to ensure technical operation and is not combined with other data. Log file information is anonymised after 24 hours and fully deleted after 3 months.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website).
3. Contact by Email
If you contact us by email, your details (email address, the content of your message, and, where applicable, your name and phone number) are stored by us in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Retention period: emails are kept for as long as necessary to process your enquiry and are then deleted — unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
4. Online Booking (Easybooking)
For the direct booking of our apartments, we use the booking system of zadego GmbH,
Anton-Melzer-Straße 10, 6020 Innsbruck
(https://www.easybooking.eu).
Easybooking (zadego GmbH) acts as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. A corresponding data-processing agreement is in place. You can find Easybooking’s privacy policy at: https://www.easybooking.eu/datenschutz
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
Web Analytics (Matomo)
To improve our website, we use Matomo (https://matomo.org/), an open-source software for anonymous website analysis. Matomo runs cookie-free — no cookies are set on your device and no cookie banner is required.
Matomo processes the following data in anonymised form:
- Anonymised IP address (the last two octets are removed, e.g. 198.51.0.0)
- Date and time of the visit
- Pages accessed and their titles
- Time spent and previous page (where transmitted by the browser)
- Browser language and screen resolution
- Approximate location (country/region, based on the anonymised IP)
The data is used solely to analyse and improve our website and is not passed on to third parties.
Matomo is installed on our own server at easyname GmbH in Austria. All data remains exclusively on our server and does not leave the EU.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website optimisation). As Matomo runs cookie-free, no consent is required.
You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.
6. Cookies
Our website uses only technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the website and the booking system. No analytics or marketing cookies are used. The website analysis (Matomo) runs cookie-free.
7. External Links
Our website contains links to our social-media profiles and to partner platforms. These links lead to external websites — by clicking them, you leave our website. We are not responsible for data processing on these platforms. No data is transferred merely by the placing of links.
